Each year, ALMA welcomes dozens of high school students from across Arizona in a full-day workshop at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University's downtown campus. This signature event reiterates ALMA's commitment to supporting the next generation of journalists. Since the first workshop 28 years ago, more than two thousand high school students have attended, many of those students have continued their education at the Cronkite School and have gone on to careers in journalism, public relations and other media.
